Trauma and PTSD Treatment
The underlying cause of our reactions is an outcome of how our minds work. Our minds relate stimuli from the environment to common themes from our past. As a result, our minds create an automatic response to situations and events. This response is so fast, we can get caught in the middle of a reaction before we can comprehend what is happening. Allowing these unwanted reactions to occur can serve to reinforce undesired behaviours. , this creates a conditioned response and negative belief system within ourselves. Talking with a therapist can help bottling up of destructive negative emotions like sadness, anger and frustration, and release unwanted negative emotions. a

Trauma Counselling using Psychotherapy
Our Trauma counselling also makes use of Psychotherapy and BWRT®. When using BWRT for Trauma Counselling, you use your own thoughts to create change. Your therapist does not need to be aware of these thoughts. In essence, BWRT® allows you to create change from within, rather than from what the therapist says or does. Counselling Sessions using BWRT® Psychotherapy is a powerful process of therapeutic intervention in the way we feel and react. Moreover, it is a great way of rewiring the brain. As a result, it allows you to have healthier and more desired responses to situations and life events.
